Faith Endures Through Persecution & Chastening
Faith is not passive. It is complete reliance on Christ, moving us to act and trust God through every season of life. Hebrews 12 calls believers to run with endurance, laying aside anything that slows them down and fixing their eyes on Jesus. Suffering and trials are not signs of God's absence or displeasure. They are part of His intentional process of shaping us into the image of His Son. The biblical concept of chastening is not punishment. It is the loving correction of a Father who refuses to leave His children where they are. For those who remain under the training rather than running from it, the result is the peaceable fruit of righteousness.
