Why "Trying Hard" is a Terrible Spiritual Strategy #bible #Podcast

Oct 24, 2026 • Pastor Spencer Fusselman, Bob Huffman

Are you truly in the faith, or have you bought into the deception of "cheap grace"?

In this week’s deeply challenging episode of The Drive Bible Podcast, Bob and Spencer open up Hebrews 12:18-24 to contrast the terrifying Mount Sinai Covenant of law with the glorious New Covenant of grace. Bob breaks down the prophecy of the "Kingdom to Come"—the Millennial Kingdom—and what believers can expect when the Saints reign with Christ for 1,000 years!

Then, Spencer tackles the root cause of modern apostasy: easy-believism. Discover why simply "saying a prayer" or getting baptized means nothing if you refuse to make Jesus the Lord of your life. We are saved by grace, not works, but true salvation always produces the fruit of obedience! Learn why we must approach God with righteous reverence, what John 8 says about true discipleship, and how to test your own heart to see if you are genuinely following the King.
