If you look at the Old Testament temple, there were altars, lampstands, and tables... but absolutely zero chairs. The earthly priests were never allowed to sit down because their work of sacrificing for sin was never finished!
But Hebrews 8:1 drops a massive truth bomb: Our Great High Priest, Jesus Christ, is SEATED at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Why? Because the work of the New Covenant is completely finished!
