Press On Toward The Goal

The apostle Paul, writing from prison, teaches us about pressing forward in our faith journey despite circumstances. He confesses that spiritual perfection isn't possible on earth, but we must continue growing and avoid the pride that stops progress. Paul emphasizes doing one thing: forgetting what's behind (both good and bad) while reaching forward to what God has planned. We must run the Christian race with purpose, keeping our eyes on the eternal goal and prize. As citizens of heaven living on earth, we're called to press on toward finishing well, eagerly awaiting Christ's return and our future transformation.
